❝You don’t have to use your eyes, darling. They’re lovely, yes, but I believe if you speak Russian to a woman, she will gladly take her clothes off for you. You have that to your advantage. Any language will work—your French is lovely.❞
Neither of them, at least not regularly. Alec has a handful of dishes that he’s very good at—and Epine’s got a small repetoire of favorites that she has a fair grasp on, but neither of them are chefs. Between their limited ranges, they have enough variety to make a homecooked meal once in a while and not repeat themselves too often, but for the most part, it’s take-in or eating out for them.
Who does the laundry and other chores?
In the case that they lived separately (as they probably would), they’d be maintaining their own living spaces normally. On the off chance that they were living together, they might share the work (but it would more likely fall to whoever’s in town, or has the free time to do it.)
How many children do they have?
As long as both of them are active? None.
Who’s more dominant?
In general? Alec. But he takes a fairly relaxed approach to his relationship with Fiore, and is likely to let her have first and last say on things, so long as he’s not particularly invested in the outcome. There’s no harm in giving the woman what she wants most of the time (because more often than not they want the same thing).
Favorite non-sexual activity?
Catching a performance of one of Fiore’s preferred ballet companies. Alec’s admitted bias is for the Russian ballet; Epine leans toward the French. (It becomes a running joke, with time.)
Their favorite place to be together?
Bed. Or couch. (Or both.)
Any traditions?
Alec learned Epine’s real name early on in her time as a 00 and hasn’t let her forget it; still, per her wishes, he only calls her Fiore privately, and employs the use of nicknames by drawing various synonyms of both her real name and her alias from different languages. He also sends her a dried flower pressed under glass from each location he visits on assignment; these packages are sent anonymously from on-site and aren’t accompanied by a note or return address. They don’t really discuss it, but it’s definitely a tradition.
Their song?
Heavy In Your Arms| Florence + the Machine —this will be my last confession: i love you never felt like any blessing; whispering like it’s a secret, only to condemn the one who hears it with a heavy heart [ … ] i was a heavy heart to carry, but he never let me down; when he had me in his arms my feet never touched the ground.
What they do for each other on holidays?
Probably what’ever’s expected for that particular day. Christmas and birthdays are presents (though possibly delayed because who knows if they’re going to be in the country at the same time; the holidays are such a busy time of year for the intelligence community). Valentine’s is dinner, out someplace either particularly nice, or particularly favored. Sort of a toss up for the others. They’d have to make up some holiday habits, as time went on.
Where did they go on their honeymoon?
They’re not married.
Where did they first meet?
MI6, probably. Locker room, or in the gym. I’d say they were officially introduced some three or four days later, after they’d thoroughly beaten each other around the gym.
Any pets?
James. If they have one it will likely be Fiore’s doing.
What do they fight over?
Not much. Alec’s given to a fair amount of leeway with Fiore, and they get along well enough to begin with. If they fight it might be over petty things that are easily set aside afterwards with no real hard feelings over it.
Do they go on vacation; if so, where?
I don’t see Epine and Alec vacationing much, not to destination places, but I could see an occasional trip to Paris when they have some time. Maybe because Fiore misses a particular Parisian cafe, or maybe just because. But it wouldn’t be often. They don’t have that kinda time too frequently and what time they do have would be better together in town, and not traveling.
